Feyisola Adeyemi is a Nigerian-Irish contemporary artist and surrealist fashion designer based in the UK. She specializes in portrait-focus monument sculpture and integrates installation, printmaking, hand-crafting and painting into her practice.
THE PASSION
Feyi’s fashion design background led to her art practice in the quest for perfection for her self-taught designing career, and with a purpose to use her craft to impact the community at large positively. Her work draws inspiration from nature, societal issues and the environment which surrounds her. Hence, her interest in tackling textiles landfill waste by repurposing discarded clothing in her work.
